BIOGRAPHY

ROBERT PERRY

Born in 12/1/1953, and grew up in Dayton, Ohio.

Joined the US Marine Corps and spent 3 years, 6 months and 18 days serving in the Corps

Mr. Perry is inspired to help veterans turn negative news into positive action through his music. His goal is to raise morale and show a pride for US troops.He wants to show veterans and all Americans that just because you have a medical disability, life can go on. He often extends help to  fellow veterans to help them obtain any benefits due through the Veteran's Administration.

He's actively involved with singing, songwriting and producing music that will help show US troops and veterans that their service is appreciated, it was not for nothing and that someone cares.

He regularly signs his own songs at the FortHassison, MT VA Medical Center. His recent accomplishments include:

6/22/06 - Service and assistance to the 20th Special Forces Group (Airborne).

6/01/06 - Writing and performing musical tribute to Lima Company, #D Battalion, 25th Marines, Columbus, OH.

5/29/06 - Musical performance by invitation at the Vietnam Woman's Memorial, Washington DC during the Memorial Day celebrtation.

5/20/06 - Medal of Honor / Liberty Square Dedication, Canton, OH. Musical tribute to Medal of Honor recipients, 9th Ohio Light Artillery Battery.

Robert Perry has numerous other contributions to include dedicating a song he wrote for the family of Jim Darcy, Warrant Officer, US Army 120th Assualt Helicopter Company, 1st Aviation Brigade, Republic of Vietnam during the Jim Darcy Elementary School, Helena, MT  annual dedication.
